Welcome to our blog. I say our blog, it's really just me, Kath. Whilst Carl won't be writing blog posts this whole project wouldn't be possible without him so I think he deserves a mention.
I thought I'd start off with a little introduction post. So, who are we? We are Kath and Carl, both 29 years old renovating our first (and forever) home in Pembrokeshire, Wales. We first saw Shobrooke back in August 2015 and we finally got the keys in December 2015. We then spent 3 and a half years renovating and in May 2019 we finally moved in.
Fast forward to 2020, we are all settled in and we are living in a global pandemic. I am home a lot more and have spent some time organising renovation photos. I want to document these memories so I have decided to create a blog for Project Shobrooke.
I'm hoping this blog is going to include lots before and after pics (who doesn't love a before and after pic), top tips for renovation, upcycle project ideas, how to's, DIY furniture inspiration and plant tips.
